Do you want a meaningful summer job where you can work practically in beautiful environments? Then this could be the job for you! Lessebo Parish is looking for summer substitute caretakers for the summer of 2026.

Our workplaces are Hovmantorp, Ljuder, Lessebo, and Kosta. You need to be able to get to your workplace on your own. Work starts at 07:00 and ends at 15:30.

As a summer-employed caretaker in Lessebo Parish, you will primarily work with the maintenance of green areas, gravel paths, and plantings in the parish's cemeteries. The position also includes indoor tasks with maintenance-related duties.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in gardening and working with green areas. Green education and/or experience in similar work is an advantage. A driver's license with at least a B category and access to your own car is required. We also prefer that you have experience operating work machines such as ride-on lawnmowers and tractors. We place great value on accuracy, loyalty, and your ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We emphasize personal suitability and expect you to share the values of the Church of Sweden.
